Thriplow Daffodil Weekend is always amazing, so I was thrilled to serve ice cream and charm to the lovely people who came to the 47th Thriplow Daffodil Weekend. Thriplow is such a pretty village in South Cambridgeshire and is traffic free during the daffodil weekend. It is such a great event for all the family, lots of stallholders serving food and crafts, and I was lucky to have a pitch right next to the village green with the most beautiful shire horses taking visitors up and down the lane. It was non stop scooping on Sunday when the sun came out! Finest Vanilla Pod was the most popular scooped choice over the weekend. Bumblegum lollies were the most popular with the kids! Sorry mums and dads for their blue faces! I sold out of most of my flavours but was still able to serve the classic Mr Whippy ice cream.
The event raised over £35,000 all going to charity, so a very big well done to all the organisers. Next years Daffodil Weekend will be on 16th and 17th April, so put it in your diaries for one not to miss and I’ll see you there!! Xxx
